Thanks for the LED report as I always follow these with great interest. The $65.00 is still about 3X what I pay for HID but getting to the point where I may buy one for comparison. 35 Watt HID draw between 2.2 and 2.4 amps according to the 20 or more I have measured. Very happy with the light output, color and focus with all those I have installed into H4 & "Honda bulb" applications. The fan with the potential of contamination concerns me which is the other reason that I have not tried the high output LED. The lower output, bulb only LED so commonly advertised are too low output, IME, for use in a KLR. They can be an improvement in something like a CT110 application.
..... $65.00....hmmm. Maybe.
