chain lubr?
I have 12,000 miles on my KLR. The chain is original and I have only adjusted the tension of it once. The only lub that chain has had is WD40. Does any more need to be said?

Was it "DuPont Teflon Multi-Use Dry, Wax Lubricant"? One of the Motorcycle Consumer News guys recommended this a few years ago, for chains among other things. I bought a can, haven't tried it.

Not enough lube with the Canadian bacon I buy. The wife has us on a low fat diet so been eating Canadian. Just hope she doesn't get me off the real culprit....beer.
Nah you have to go fatty amercun bacon for real lube. Maybe we good make it in a spray can and call it Fatty Amercun. It would be great for camping. Spray the chain, spray the freeze dried grub. Spray the beer.

No....
Tri-Flow is the stuff I had.. nice for areas ya want clean, door hinges and stuff, but just did'nt like it on the chain.. Virtually no cleaning from it either.
For me, I live in Upper Michigan, so dirt/gravel is always within quick access.
so its WD-40 for me.

For sale - one pair of BMW Summer 2 nylon riding pants in tan, Size M.
Hip & knee armor inserts, legs zip off at knees, web belt included. The
'shorts' part is lined with a black nylon mesh.
Never worn but laundered once - did you know that running these through
the dryer will shrink them? I do now! DOH! Must be air dryed, which they
will fairly quickly.
Anyway, they won't fit me and I bumped up to a Large. The waist measures
34 1/2 inches around so if interested, carefully measure a pair of pants
that you find comfortable. The rise is 26 inches (measured from waist
band in front under crotch to the waist band at the rear).
Retail is about $200, these are $150 delivered to Lower 48.
