Yes. In gear or out of gear - but at least you won't be stranded when the 'safety' fails... and it WILL! Get rid of both, clutch AND sidestand safeties. Then just be mindful not to start the engine till the stand is up and you're either in neutral or clutch lever IN.>Will bypassing the clutch safety switch make the bike start whether the light is on or not?
