Hang in there, Henrik. You're not alone. I was trying to figure out
my high speed stumbling/gas starvation thing. I replaced the vacuum
line to the petcock. Then, the idle characteristics changed. I have
to crack the throttle to start. Any application of choke and it won't
run. WTF,O? On the plus side, I took a run at 85 mph and did not
experience the engine cutting out, so I assume I had a problem with
the petcock vacuum before. Who knows what I have fat-fingered now?
I'm going to pull off the tank and take a good look to see what I've
done. A little later.
Good luck,
Dave
