Consider this.. When you motor is running at a high idle, it could be one of two things. Running lean, too little gas too much air. Idle screw out of adjustment. When a motor shuts down at high idle , gas still pumps in until the motor stops. When you try to start it , it is flooded. When you try to start the bike in that situation try to screw on the throttle a little to get rid of the flooded carb. Hold throttle open until it starts. Just my view of the problem
