All three of my sons lust after my TC (so does my daughter, but she's quieter about it) As a result, they've all been informed that when I cash in my chips, Betsy will be jointly owned by all four of them, but her custody will be with the son who is a professional mechanic. BTW, I'll be there myself (in the form of ashes in a suitable container attached permanently to Betsy) to make sure she is properly treated and treasured. Will the container be chromium plated, or will it be made of ash? Where will it be situated, inside or out? Will this aftermarket attachment offend the purists? In years to come, when the car is again restored, will the restorer wonder what the contents are? He/she might think they were the remains of some sort of ceremonial burning of the previous body tub. Having been asked, on a few occasions in the past, to scatter ashes from a light aeroplane over some favourite part of the deceased's countryside, can I recommend it not be placed anywhere near the engine because, if it leaks, (either the engine or the container) ashes will become stuck to oily surfaces, and require washing off. How about suspending the container just above the end of the tailpipe with a small metering device. The contents then could be spread amongst the favorite countryside of the deceased thus sparing future generations of restorers any wonderment. I suggest that the container be suitably attached in one of the spaces left over from where the T A&B batteries were mounted

Yes, It was an ash tray.......... It came with an MG Logo on the front and attached to the windshield with a suction cup on the back. I would wonder how long the ashes would stay in there, top down.
