ADJUSTING.MAKES.THE.PROBLEM.WORSE. That's when many of the breakages occur... The part slides down the idler shaft and gets in a bind when the bolt is re-tightened. It bends or breaks at this point. It's how I broke my first one. Butcept when the freaking weld is a "cold weld" and the ovoid collar (the
"doo") just separates from the adjusting slot (the "hickey"). RM has pix of
the failed items from either Tech I or II. I've got two doohickeys...the
one that I bought from Jake via Mark B. and the other from Eagle via Mike
 C. They are both little works of machinist art and appear to function
 without problem.

I think the key item to remember when adjusting you doohickey is to keep
the bike leaned as far right as possible, even to laying it down on it's
right side when loosening the adjusting bolt.

 Ain't opinions just wonderful?!?!?!

Buddy,
I thought that the post about the USS Constitution was so good that I, for
one will forgive you for not using "NKLR".
 Carry on.

TO ALL MY KLR BUDDIES WHEREVER THEY MAY BE. Sorry for the lack of NKLR
on my previous Navy post. I will now stand in the corner and hang my head
in shame for such an egregious affront to group policy.

 A shame faced,

 Buddy

Hope this is not a duplicate. Has anyone had any contact with Big
Cee lately? I ordered some parts and have not received confirmation
 that he received the order.
 TIA

Hey Chuck,

From the look of other postings to the list, it would appear that Dok Krok
was playing hookey with that rich, independent playboy, Stu Mumford.

If you try pinging Krokko about now, he should return the ping. I've never
had a problem getting stuff from Krok in a timely manner.
