Pretty cool, but IMO, studs are all you need. If you recall, Tumu,
Devon, Millerized and I were all well-experienced in winter riding.
maybe Jud too.

Very nice! Are those outriggers, or just skis on their feet? It looks
more like outriggers. "Might" unload the wheels a bit. Looks like fun
though. Did you hear the camera guy's bike rev up on that turn? He was
having fun with it, for sure.
Studded tires, probably.
I have ridden on snow and ice. Snow is OK, but scary. Deep snow is
hilarious. No need for a kick stand. Ice is more scary than Texas
Chainsaw Massacre 3D in a straight jacket.

Interesting article about the development of these Husqvarna bikes with auto transmissions, side skis, and studded tires. Parts of the Brit writer's story are a hoot--like when he froze his bare finger to the side of a van in the frigid Swedish winter . . .

I put it on the calender for day 91 of 2013.
We should make it a group ride.
We could all gather in MOAB, and follow some national celebrity (as seen in USA TODAY) guy in a vette up white rim trail.

Take a moment and touch the numbered boxes at the bottom.
It has a short blurb on other bikes as well.

My KLR has been over Guanella Pass in February, no skis necessary. In fact, that looks like a good way to break a leg.
