motion-pro chain breaker & warrenty service

Post by mark ward » Mon Oct 15, 2012 2:22 pm

I got a 3IN1 from fred last Aug. (?) and it comes with a 1yr warrenty, the "extracter" pin (Break & push out) broke on me 2days ago, a good month beyond warrenty. I calledMotion-Pro, today, Talked to Chris, one will be sent out ASAP. (most likely today) I have said for yr's, It is not where you buy a product, but WHO WILL BACK IT UP AFTER. 20+ yr's as a service tech,. I learned many GOOD companies have a grace period, like Maytag, GE, etc.,(May tag & GE have a 90 day grace period) They understand the, "I've only used it twice in 1 yr. and it broke 2 weeks after the warranty ran out." , Stories we have all heard. (If told no, Be polite, and call back in 10+- minutes to get a differant person.) So where every you buy ANYTHING, The key is who's name travels with the product. (If buds appliance store ASK!! WHO DOES YOUR SERVICE???) (YES! then theres the, "I do'nt know what you are talking about. companies.) PS. Everyone on this site knows, Fred is there for us. (He's in my speed dial.) tool ect. (gas) canister

Post by mark ward » Mon Oct 15, 2012 6:40 pm

Hey just an FYI I received 3 canisters I plan on mounting on the KLR. Google: Agri supply & Manual canister's. Made to bolt on tracters. 3.25 x 12 $5. each I read one a bike web site the lettering comes off kind of easy Cap has Neoprene seal, BUT under the top mounting bracket in an 1/8inch +- hole you will need to seal if you want it WATER TIGHT. (Hole most likely do to heat/cold changes causing pressure/vacuum Or to avoid mold growing on the manual.) I will mount 1 behind (to) each Pelican case. I now carry a 1 liter MSR fuel canister (Camping/hiking supplies) with Gas, when running way out no-where alone. And a small one with oil. Now I will have them OUTSIDE my pelican cases, taking up less space inside the cases. They are Also known for carring Tools, etc. I LOVE TO FARKLE [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

Those are great tool tubes. Its funny, twisted throttle sells them but at 15 or 20 and a guy on ebay sells em for much more. My fuel cans are 1.5L so they wont fit but I put a smaller oil one in mine. Crash

Naptha (Lighter Fluid) Takes the lettering right off. 1L plastic water bottles fit perfectly. -Jeff Khoury
