tool list from a week ago.
I tried to print the tool list that was sent in about a week ago,
because mine has too much junk. In the process I managed to erase the
letter, and also, fail to print it.
If anyone still has it, could you bounce it off in this direction please.
Thanks in advance,
DC

# 27mm 1/2" drive deep socket
# 1 3/16" (or 30mm) 1/2" drive socket (for the Eagle Mike prevailing torque
nut)
# A medium-quality multi-tool
# Pliers

heh. was out on some single track with a good friend of mine and there was a tree across the trail. it was huge. the geography of the land around it was such that there was really no "sane" way to bypass it. had no chainsaw and even if we had it would have took a WHILE since it was in excess of 3' diameter and about 15' or so long. however, while it was lying on the ground on the right side of the trail, on the left side it was high enough that we could drag the bikes (my KLR and his KLX250) under it. we did his first as it was lighter and we could easily figure out how do-able it would be to drag mine. his was no problem. so we tried dragging mine. mine being bulkier and heavier drug a bit more. enough so, that once on the other side of the tree, i noticed we had bent my shifter peg. grabbed my tools, pulled the peg and used one rock as an anvil and another as a hammer (chimp-style) to pound it straight enough to be able to get it back to the campground where we were staying (where there was a vice handy). sometimes you can find the tools you need in the field if you're creative and lucky. it's always an adventure ed rock newport, tn 09 klr650 (Ms.Chif) 07 gsf1250s (Cloud9) 01 gsf600s (Pearl) 84 vf750f " the shortest distance between two points is a straight line, but that doesn't appeal to us riders anyway" -- Ted Dorsey>________________________________ > From: D Critchley > >You forgot an anvil and a 6'' vise. > >DC

I'm pretty sure that is in Criswell's or Judds left saddle bag.
