10W LED Spotlight Flood Wash Light Projection Lamp Bulb 12V DC Cool White I rigged one with my home security system cameras which use 12V power supply. Amazing amount of light for the juice and cost; less than 20 dollars. Would take some rigging on pre08 KLRs but would save much juice. Not quite legal though but neither are aftermarket HIDs. J#3

seems like one would fit right above the front fender on pre08s--where some people put two small fog lights that draw much more power and put out less light.
