I picked up an '08 Shock assy off Ebay with about 3K miles on it for 110 with shipping. Bolted right one, Spring with it is just fine and dandy. Also , later picked up an 09 carb with about 2K miles on the bike for near 100 bucks shipped, Can't buy parts for that price. Andy in Jennings. OO KLR 07 Bandit

plx racks for klr

Does anyone know if there are GIVI PLX/R racks made for the KLR? Or, maybe someone has modified a set of regular racks. Want to put a set on my Super Moto project and can use the E35s from my Bandit. Thomas J. Komjathy DSK L.L.C. dskllc@... [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

I'm gonna say there probably are, or at least were. I have a set of Happy Trails PL racks (discontinued by HT) which they described to me as a set of Givi racks with a crossbar added by HT. From your description it looks like the PL designation may have come right from Givi. I don't know what the other letters mean, but it's enough of a clue to go looking (unless of course HT discontinued them because Givi discontinued them).

I think Twisted Throttle sells a KLR rack with adapters for Givi bags. [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
