tire and chain and sprocket time.

Post by achesley43@ymail.com » Fri May 11, 2012 4:15 am

Spooned on a new 5.10 x 17 Kenda 270 on the Ole KLR yesterday, along with a set of sprockets and chain. Decided to check the rear wheel for balance while all was off of it. Sprocket carrier and spacers. Thing was perfectly balance after I took off all the weights I had on the wheel from the last tire. Once putting on the new Kenda and air it up to 40 psi to let the beads seat, It took quite a bit of weight to balance it. Think I'm gonna order a selection of spoke weights for it. Next is the front tire ,3.25 Kenda 270, and left fork seal and flush and change out fork fluid. Maybe today! Just love working on that old KLR. ;-) Andy in Jennings, La.
