I did it with a cordless. But I have three batteries and used about 2.5 of them.
Don't forget some cutting oil of some kind.

exhaust header nuts
Listers,
I was doing some maintenance to my KLR this last week and one of the
checks was the exhaust header nuts. They are a known point of issue with
loosening.
Torque I use is 15 foot pounds.
I found both my exhaust nuts loose by more than 1/4 turn.
