To me, the easiest way to take off the left or right turn signal is to land on that respective side (left or right) when you fall off road, or hit a deer. Cages work well too. Eddie M. [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

Am I missing something? I just take off the nuts inside the fairing on the inner end of the stalk, pop the wire connectors, and the whole thing comes out of the fairing.

I have been a member of this forum for years and no longer have any KLR650's left. I always appreciated reading all of the tips and other postings. They were of great value when I was modifying my KLR's. I have some left over parts from one of my project bikes that I sold before doing many of the mods.
