Those trials riders never cease to amaze me with what they can do. ________________________________ From: Jeffrey To: DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com Sent: Thursday, December 15, 2011 2:35 PM Subject: [DSN_KLR650] Try this on your KLR http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zf0TVdgM62Y&feature=related [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

In Canada these earth-destroying machines are still legal. In spite of the fact that thousands of local whales will certainly die, I bought a 1980 Yamaha DT175, installed road tyres, changed the sprocket back to a road size, repaired or replaced the lights, and you would not believe the original fork oil, you could still smell the original factory saki in it, also the compression was pathetic. Once re-bored it works very well. I welded up a rack for the back of my 5th wheel trailer for this 220 lb beast, and it is a nice change from driving the truck when we are on holidays. I managed to do 4 or 5 of the "Destination Highways" in B.C., and put 352 km on it one day. So the days of 2 stroke street-legal Enduros are not dead, just re-located. Keep the rubber side down, DC DC
