Anybody got a right side (clutch) cover off their bike? I need a few closeup pix of the INSIDE, the castings where the clutch release lever stem fits. I'm still testing my mod'd (lengthened) release lever, which has a longer stem than on the assembly I took out. The stem is longer, and I seem to be having more trouble finding neutral than with the old assembly. Thanks --James

In Victoria today/night. Been a great trip, and do to the Hospitality of John B. (& wife) in seattle showing me around and telling me .......where to go, (in a nice way. LOL) It's been my BEST trip. Some times it's hard being gone so long and knowing NO ONE, I felt like I was with Family in Seattle. Made it hard to leave. (But John escorted me to the Ferry to canada just to make sure left the Country. I didn't know I was THAT BAD. LOL Will Start heading Eastish Mon. or tue. Later

Friction and steel discs were fine, springs were shot. I replaced the friction discs "as long as I was in there" but the disc replacement was not really needed. Watch the position of the "omega spring". I bumped it when removing the cover and with the spring rotated 90 degrees the bike will not shift.
