I recently bought a First Gear yellow jacket at similar price and I've never before seen motorists "wake up" and give me a double take in place of pulling out in front of me. It's hot and muggy out, the mesh makes it tolerable, being seen is priceless! I want to continue to be noticed so if you're in the Twin Cities, get the black one, ok? YMMV

Just a note for the guys in BC, mostly because this place is both handy and interesting. I got back yesterday from Wells,BC "The Gateway to Barkerville". If anyone has any interest in the history of the Cariboo Gold Rush, this is a nice place to go. There are a couple of motels & a hotel there, and the rates seem to be reasonable all round. I stayed at Hubs Motel, in a kitchen equipped unit for $85 per night, of course I get the $5 Senior discount, which the kiddies don't.Very friendly people, and the service at the motel is great. I was down about a cupful of oil, and the only service station was closed. When I asked at the desk where I could buy oil, she told me that there was nowhere else, but if I would wait a minute she would see what her husband had. Yamalube 10-40, and she would take no payment for the amount that I used. If you have a sweet tooth, she bakes a few times a week and then has cookies available, no charge. The service station has to be mentioned. The operator sells gas. Nothing else. Open 1200 to 1800. Since you are 77 km from Quesnell, I think that gassing up would be in order there on the way in. Barkerville is a very interesting place, the various stores are set up as they used to be, along with information about the people that ran them. There are restaurants and coffee shops, and various artisans selling items. Several demonstrations happen every day, and guided tours of the whole town are done several times a day. The bike,('08 w/16 tooth front and 38,000 km on it) did the trip both ways at about 110 km. I stopped at McBride on Monday night, then did the other bit the next day. On the way home I went the entire 952 km at one shot. Gassed up at Quesnell, McBride, and Hinton, AB to get home in exactly 12 hrs, through two rotten rainstorms.
