Depends on what you mean by "good". Good for what?
What is your mix of on road vs. off-road driving and what kind of off-road terrain will you be running upon?

Looking to replace tires.I am currently running pure street tires. Was looking at the Metzler tourance tires. Only street no trails etc. Are these good or are there better choices for just on road? sorry for the misunderstanding.

Those MEFOs need to last about 25000 miles to justify the cost. In real life, most seem to be gone at 6-11000 miles. Before I started just putting D606s on all my DS bikes, I used to get 9500 out of a Kenda K270 rear. That was when they only cost $35 a tire, $28 for the fronts. I have not been a fan of German tires; maybe when the dollar and the Euro trade at 1:1 again...

Looking to replace tires.I am currently running pure street tires. . . .
Changed out the 'factory' Kenda 270 front to a Kenda 761 about a year ago;
now getting the rear changed as well.
My riding is all 'street' at present {not necessarily by choice}. But I want
the option to ride a dirt road, or a trail through the Jersey 'Piney's' if
the opportunity arises.
Regards & Good Luck,

Yes, the Mefo Super Explorer is a different tire than the Mefo Explorer. The Super Explorer is only made in 140 & 150 width to fit a 18 wheel. The Explorer is made in 21 , 19 , 120-130/18 & 120-130/17 sizes.
Both tires models are well made from Mefo where the Super Explorer has a slightly more aggressive tread.
