For the hardcore repair guys.... I send this as I attempt to relocate the mouning tabs on my poor 200's pipe. Advice number one: Don't lay her down in the rock gardens of Tamaqua PA. Next tip: Don't stick a chunk of pipe in the manifold end and attempt to tweak things back into shape. I got the manifold to seat properly again, in fact, better than it ever has, but now the brackets are off! In his case, yes. Technically a "cold solder joint" that he found by luck. If it is already "cooked", why not attempt a fix? Much like the pipe I just relocated the tabs on. A beeotch of a welding job with a stick, but I was out 200 bucks if I didn't fix it, so there was no loss. And...... it actually looks like the pipe is going to work. E

OK, Eric, so the two repairs are only related by degree of difficulty being double black diamond. Got it. I'll be sure to send this to my bicycle-mechanic son who changed out the hard drive in his Panasonic laptop by using instructions in Japanese (he used the pictures and an automated translation web site) and a non-standard hard drive that needed jumpers to work. I'm of the school, it it's already broke, what harm can I do? Man built these things, man should be able to repair by reverse engineering. But then, I'm one of the lucky jack-of-all-trades type and have the basic equipment and knowledge to tackle most anything. KTM pipe was a success, 200.00 saved. E

I park my A19 on the sidewalk that goes into my yard and it is just outside the kitchen window. I always turn the handle bars to the left and lock it. It had rained a short time in the morning before I got up. When I went to the kitchen sink to get some water to make coffee I saw a bird taking a bath in the right hand guard where some rain water had accumulated.
