Who is the Grinch who stole Spring? Weather in the Dakota's = 11 months of uncertainty and 1 month of extraordinary uncertainty. And to top that off, this is that '1' month. It has snowed here on the prairie--10 inches past two days and more in the forecast tonight. Tomorrow. and the 3 days following. Floods to the East; it is more like Lake Dakota along the James River (flowing South) and the Red River (North Dakota; flowing N). The extra snow will give them another slug of run-off to areas overwhelmed with water. It has almost been riding wx a couple of days--I have cycled the bikes home from cold storage to home to storage 3x. IT is beginning to feel a little like Ground Hog Day-movie. and Overwhelmed with the dearth of 'list' ride reports as well. Judging by the list traffic, no-one else seems to be riding as well. Maybe they are 'pimping' their ride? While looking at digital tire pressure gages, I find this: http://www.tirerack.com/accessories/detail.jsp?ID=162 Here is one farkle that I bet NOBODY has on their KLR. At least nobody has admitted to this usable, 'pimp' device. Although I think it is OEM on Gold Wings, BMW and some HD. revmaaatin. The army during WW1 or 2 set up on top of the tallest hotel here, (Amway Now for yrs) but after 2 yrs said it to to UN-PREDICTABLE, they THOUGHT it would be great with everything here, Snow etc., but walked away paying for a 20 yr lease after the 2 yr's.
Sleet right now thou.
ALSO I thought about leaving Early to ride to Washington State, Thanks for the heads up TO EARLY....STILL SNOW!

I have seen them go anywhere from $600 to $1300. The only one I had much experience with was a freebie that a guy in Colorado Springs gave Jeff Ecker. Jeffie put new valves and a cam chain in it, at which point the guy decided he wanted it back. But Jeffie had it long enough for me to ride the Elephant Ride, and do some cold-weather dual sporting around Picketwire Canyon.

When I was stationed in Mayport used to love firing up my KZ400 and hitting A1A down for a ride, St. Augustine once ended up riding down the sidewalks to get out of town, was a parade or something going on buddy and I just wanted to get through... so, Wifey and I hop the curb, and buddy and his Wifey on his Sportster hop the curb and made our way outta there...
Watch the blowing sands however.. and the Lovebugs suck.
