skid plate

I ordered the one from Whitehorse Press (Richochet by Utah Sports Cycle) , http://www.utahsportcycle.com/, based on price and the oil drain hole. What ever you order make sure you dont need to remove it just to change oil

The Ricochet division of Utah Sport Cycle makes about 95% of all skid plates for the KLR.  Some of your examples are copies of the original and are cheaper designs. http://69.94.125.252/store/page156.html Fred www.arrowheadmotorsports.com     From: robert@... I don't have a recommendation between these. On the other hand, when I was looking at engine guards I did see something about making sure any skid plate I added was compatible with the other farklage on the bike. I ended up with SW-Motech engine guards and center stand, which may end up driving my choice of a skid plate when it comes to that. Daniel

I trimmed my Utah skid plate to fit with the SW-Motech guards on my A19. Mike Martin, Louisville, KY From: Daniel   I don't have a recommendation between these.
