If you're looking for a teammate, or rider & bike for moral support, sign me up! Last year, someone completed the Vegas-Reno race in about 19 hours (it's slated for 10). I'd like to run that one some time, just to finish it. Chris A5

More than ever after watching it this year. PG Lundmark is my hero - almost made it. Gotta love the heart he had, though. Kirsty keeps asking me the same thing. Over and over....answer hasn't changed. dat brooklyn bum

The BMW's seemed to hold a line well, but looked like more of a handful...maybe higher cg. Kindof hard to judge difference in the two as there were so many KTM's fielded this year, and many getting coverage in the lead spots. The folks contending are great riders in great shape. That suspension is what makes them great in the Dakar though. Wonder what kind of setup Campbell had going on his Honda.... I've been taping the race & watching when I can. Still no idea who won & don't want to know! I'll keep the blinders on & check it out on tape. side note: I've always followed the Giants, but Ravens defense Really is good (they still think themselves the underdogs), & will find the heart to pull it out. yup The big show's just down the street this Sunday, but the NFL has gobbled up 70% of the tickets & the worst of the rest start at 2k. I could buy good suspension for 2k! All best Scott A14 "thunderdog"

I think that Tumu's thread was about the "Viking" rider by the name of Lundmark. Last I heard...Lundmark had a broken nose & was riding without factory support...yet never quit & had an ear to ear grin, every time you saw him. Gotta love it. I was wondering about Johnny Campbell & how he fared on his non factory Honda. That guy will win Dakar eventually, if he stays in shape & can land a ride. I've not seen it all yet. I think...that the last leg is on Speedvision tomorrow nite @8:00 est. All best Scott A14 "thunderdog"
