Hey ALL HELLLLLLP Helping a lady friend with her dr200se (07) 1st the bike sat for a few months, wouldn't start, then the gas flooded into the oil etc. (1.5 gallons of gas) cleaned it out, started but stalled several times, then NO START. I pulled the bottom off the carb. the float, was VERY stuck, cleaned out the bottom area, Pulled out the float, neddle etc.. Still no start, Tryed starting fluid, (last resort honest) it does not even fire, But there IS spark at the plug. (pulled tested) Thanks in advance. (I will forget to say later) Mark PS. once running fine again it's up for sale. (she (63) wants a F650gs for highway trips. has a 900 star also. NO FEAR!)

Please explain the line "then the gas flooded into the oil". Apart from that I would yank and tear down the carb. Maybe a sticky float or enrichment vavle that is still causing issues. Post pics, price and location when it is up for sale and tell her she rocks! 63 and still has a dr200se is pretty cool in my book

She Rocks! 63 and still has a DR200se is pretty cool in my book! So what makes it cool her age or the fact she's a women and can still ride a motorcycle i think if you put that to her she might give you a piece of her mind,I'm 65 myself and have four bikes and don't even think about my age most of the time,It's whats between the ears as the old saying goes that counts. I know people who look old beyond there years because they think old, I'm asked all the time why I'm still ride a motorcycle and the answer is quite simple,"Because i can"and will till i scare myself silly or i can't throw a leg over anymore It's been part of my life since i was 13 years old in the UK,hope this doesn't come across as a "Rant" just my 2c on the age thing.                                                                                                     Stu Still Rockin.
