Just below the valve cover, cam chain side, there's 2 round looking plugs with a hex fitting. What are these. Can't find anything in my manual. The front one is sweating a little oil. Busy doing carb mod, Thermo Bob, doohicky and Happy Trails panniers, crash bar and skid plate. So far all is going well.

any comments on xena alarm lock?
Is the sensitivity of the alarm adjustable to prevent false tripping?
Does it tend to go off at all when you're removing it?
Weather resistant?

engine?
They are just plugs - probably a tapered pipe thread. The other side is the
area where the cam chain resides.
They don't do anything else except plug the hole. On their centerlines in
the head on the other side of that area are threaded holes. It is just a
guess but they may be there so you can remove the plug and thread a bolt in
there to keep the chain from falling down when you remove the cams?
Anyway make sure they are actually leaking and that the oil is not coming
down from the valve cover gasket. If you are sure they are leaking try
tightening them a tweak. If that doesn't work you can safely remove them
and then I would recommend using Teflon tape.
