Since posters here seem to be all knowing on things motorcycle related I thought that I would start here. The turn signals on my Yamaha TW200 stick out too far and tend to get broken when I tip over. They are tucked under the racks nicely but the stems are too long. Are there shorter stemmed turn signal options available that should plug right in to my current set-up? LED's would be nice as well. I may look at them for my KLR but with the Happy Trails rack installed they are rather well protected. Thanks Pat

You might have to dig about online to find them. I too, would like some normal 'stubbies' to directly replace the 650 and the 250 turnsignal lights--without doing a lot of other changing or engineering. If it is LED, then four lights and an appropriate 'flasher' in a one stop purchase. revmaaatin.

Those are the same signals that come on the BMW Funduro. They are available from other vendors. I thought they were expensive at $32 a pair, but I have seen them for as little as $16.95 a pair. Don't ask me where. BTW, Dennis Kirk's stuff is not always this outrageously expensive, but it is seldom the cheapest source for anything.

You can not do that! The rear wheel turning will turn the chain and thus the secondary side of the tranny. The oil delivery is on the primary side of the tranny. You tranny will go up in smoke. Go buy a trailer, They are pretty cheap at Harbor Freight and you can just mount two 2x4s to it to make a channel for the wheel to roll in

Gotta agree with the D.K. pricing comment. Working nights, I've liked having their catalog on my desk and being able to order an accessory at 2am on a Sunday morning with an operator that answered on the 2nd or 3rd ring. =) eddie
