Hi,
I am new to the forum and find all the posts quite informative. So I thought I might post this problem I am having to see if anyone has ideas.
My '02 KLR seems to have a lean misfire, kind of like a light surging or like getting hit with sudden gusts of wind. But the other day it would not take throttle like it was running out of fuel. I pulled over and opened the tank to check the fuel which was good and the bike started after 2 attempts, then ran normal.
I have replace the spark plug. Removed the tank and checked the vacuum supply to the petcock and the fuel flow was good. I have opened the fuel tank while riding to see if there maybe a vacuum in the tank keeping the fuel from draining....and none of these things have made any difference. The problem is not there all the time and is usually more noticeable at 3k to 4k rpm. My next venture maybe to remove the carb. and check. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

misfire
#ygrps-yiv-1154826013 p {margin:0;}With carburetors, it's not so much RPM as it is throttle position. What position is the throttle in when it's most evident?

In each area is a localy owned great food place, Tony Packo's in Toledo, (made famous by Klinger on "Mash") A german rest. in Colorado springs very unieqe and great food. (only 1) etc.
Or any must see place's besides the zoo and kids science center.
