re fusion paint.........

I bought a cheap (priced) Pelican Bag off ebay, only problem is that the big was International Safety Orange (color), and I painted it with Fusion flat black paint.  It looked OK, but it began to chip in places.  It does not look bad, well, at least better then orange.  IMHO, Fusion if OK at best, it is not all that great. dual disks up front

Post by RobertWichert » Mon Jun 14, 2010 10:49 am

Harry, For me, that skinny little tire needs no more braking than what the factory gave us.  Some people recommend a larger rotor and stainless steel brake lines.  I can lock up my front tire on asphalt now, with a stock setup.  To me, that means the stock setup is OK.  Off road, I hardly use the front brake at all. If you look at that skinny little tire, you might agree with me. Robert P. Wichert P.Eng +1 916 966 9060 FAX +1 916 966 9068 ========================================================

With all the knowledge on this group, I'm pretty sure it's already been contemplated, if not already completed. I have a spare set of forks, rotor, wheel, and caliper. Looks like I'd need a hub with 2 disks to respoke to my rim, and a splitter or new set of hoses? Just wondering what it'd entail, I'm probably being overly simplistic on the requirements, but just wondering if it's both cost and time worthy. Thanks, Harry in Germany
