steamy windows !!??

Sat for a long time, used sea foam runs great now. Thanks for all the advice.

Best $10 one can try on a gummed up carb, eh?   A couple of tankfuls of SF treated gas and it ought to be good to go.   eddie

Are you making short trips where your engine doesn't get up to operating temperature?  Condensation in your oil will do this.  Are you using high pressure to wash your bike that may inject water past your seals?   A good long ride should evaporate any moisture in your oil and clear up this "steamy window". But, the oil level sight glass always has an opaque white deposit on the inside which makes it impossible to visually check the oil level. Last year I put a new set of clutch plates in and with the engine cover off I wiped the white stuff away, but it has returned. The old oil is normal and black when I drain it for changing, and there is no water in it. Anyone had this issue or know the reason for it? Chris
