klr brakes

Your stock front is better than mine was, I couldn't get it to lock; well maybe on a wet surface I could. The bennie's from the oversize rotor are, better modulation and I can stop before the intersection with my 230 LB sister in-law on the back. Good thing there were no cars coming, it would have looked like a cattle truck had flipped. klr brakes

Attachments : Robert, My bike spends most of it's time on the freeway at 80 Mph. At those speeds the stock front brake does not perform well, especially in a panic situation. I found the stock front brake too soft, and faded quickly. With my EBC front brake and stainless steel line, I can lock up the front tire if I pull the brake real hard, but that's not the goal. I feel like I have more controll over my front brake now, it's more responsive and I have more confidence in it. RobertWichert wrote:
