My KLR is a chick repellent. Specifically, my wife. She hates riding on it. Which only enhances it's utility.

A buddy had just bought his first motorcycle (a Harley Wide Glide of course). This tall strawberry blond chick jumped up and sat on my KLR and said this was really cool not even looking at the Wide Glide. Justice!! Herman was pissed as I think he bought the Harley to attrack chicks. Another time going through Pagosa Sprimgs this chick fell in love with my KLR. I think it is the red, black, yellow repaint. > > Herman that rides the Wide Glide? He has 8000 miles on his Harley. I have 53,000 on the KLR and 54,000 on the Concours. The KLR was purchased the same time as the Harley and the Concours a year and a half later. > > Criswell > On Mar 17, 2010, at 1:25 AM, Jeff Khoury wrote: > > > > > > > My observations, bullet-pointed: > > > > Harley owners do not like anything that isn't slathered in H-D logos and chrome. > > > > Sport bike owners snicker until they see you jump curbs and parking stops (or pull 45-degree wheelies). > > > > Police (here in LA) don't even look twice at dual-sport bikes.
