She was the original umbrella girl. They were in her drinks. Criswell

Jennifer was, as usual leading the group, (loved following the tight black leathers) when a fish taco truck pulled out unexpectantly from a driveway, ....Jennifer T-Boned it and was killed instantly.    The KLR world will never be the same. Trans-AMA - Herman, NE - 1970-1978 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Trans-AMA_motocross_champions http://www.classicmotocrossimages.com/photo_album3.1.html http://www.vintagemx.us/forgottentracks.htm (Herman is listed here) I was never out there but remembered Tony DiStefano winning somewhere in the area in the '70s, so the search was easy. I was hard core Enduro back then, but Tony was from near here in PA and we all knew who he was. I tried MX once, on my 1976 KX-450 and didn't do well, so I stayed with Enduro riding. With the help of the local Kawasaki shop, my bike was made street legal and I rode that in enduros. Didn't win with that setup, either. I had a competitive bike when I ran in 250 class (Ossa Pioneer) but that group had the largest population, so I went on to the Open Class. Although I was accumulating points, I never finished in the top 10 until I got my 1977 Penton (KTM) Mint 400. I should have won trophies just for finishing on some of the bikes I rode: 175 F-7, 350 F-9 "Bighorn". Fun times! Mike Horton Oliphant wrote:
Was anyone else at the motocross race someplace around Omaha Nebraska around 75 to 78? I attended a race and watched Decoster, Hannah, Tripes, Wolsink and many others. I have a few slides someplace that I can't lay my hands on at the moment. I can't remember who won but it wasn't Tripes because I remember seeing him after the race and he wasn't happy. It was very dusty for the race. I think about this every once in a while and wonder if anyone from the group was there and or has more information.
