I have had terrific response to my KACR questions and I thank all of you for
the assistance. I truly do not have a summary at this point except to say I
will be very leery of riding this bike at the rev's I have been doing until
I understand exactly what's going on.

carb trouble again
ok i got my bike to start road it loved it now its leaking fuel out of the drain on the bottom of the bowl i have cleaned the carb twice checked the tube in the bowl for holes and made sure the needle and seat were working i put a filter on the tank to make sure i have clean fuel going im am wondering if the float is set to high does anybody know how to set this?it sure would help other than keeping adjusting the float till i get it?still was a pain to start its 35 out I did the 22cent mod while i was in there and have the idle air screw turned out 1 and three quater turns but this leaking carb is about to tick me off and still not sure about the clod starting problem any help would be apreciated i have alot of hair and about to start pullling it out

has anybody had any problems with the kacr on older klrs I am really starting to think this might be a problem with mine and its hard starting when cold or cooled down even when its hot it runs fine when is cooled down it takes alot to start mines a 88 model i looked at the kacr and it seems to be all there and functioning
