nklr- v-strom payload question
I once got myself (180#+ gear), a Homelite chainsaw, wood splitting maul, 2 gallons of oil & gas, 100 ft. of rope, lunch + the weight of 3 GiVi boxes on my 02' DL1000. Not 500 pounds. But, quite a load and it handled things just fine.

Damn that looks like fun. Does anyone know if there is a phone number to
call to get in on it?
Andrew
As nightfall does not come at once, neither does oppression. In both
instances, there is a twilight when everything remains seemingly unchanged.
And it is in such twilight that we all must be most aware of change in the
air however slight lest we become unwitting victims of the darkness.

Subject: [DSN_KLR650] Anyone else riding in the Kettle Moraine Dual Sport
Ride this Sunday?
I see that both this ride and also the Bucky Badger DS ride the following
weekend are full.
I would like to connect with some KLR riders from the forum if possible.
Ride info:

It looks like it will be a lot of fun, judging from last year's photos.
It also looks like it might be cold and damp, judging from the weather
forecast.

Hi Andrew,
Sorry to say, registration was closed after the max number of riders signed up.
If you want to stay on top of rides in the Wisconsin area you can always find an up to date list here:

Great quote in your sig, by the way.

Andrew, If you just show up at one of these "fully subscribed" events, you can ride along. You may not get the party favors, the dinner, or the route sheet, but a guy with your charm and persuasive abilities can surely find someone to tag along with, probably someone you know.> > Damn that looks like fun.
