Skypilot Posted by: "edself1950" eddie@... edself1950Thu Jun 11, 2009 4:20 pm (PDT)I know this is old subject but now getting close to 6000 miles I had to know!I took bike to local dealer and let them look inside ,I have had doo kit from Fred for over a year and could stand it no longer.Yep the spring was broken and I had all the parts and will feel better when I get bike back.I call the number on my warranty card and the KAWA rep told me I was only the 3rd YES THIRD person he has talked to who had this problem and the only thing the factory would pay for was tighting the muffler bolts !I am glad the mechanic is taking his time and doing it by the book and my print out from MARK .They are super lyars at the kawa warranty office I have been reading about this problem ever since I have had the bike eddie self
