recall on '08? klr

Yes there was. Just had it done at my local friendly dealer. Apparently the harness can chafe on the frame and cause electrical death if you get more than 50 miles in to the Mojave at night without having the mod done. Takes about an hour to fix.in the shop. DC Terry Taylor wrote:

Yes, there was a recall to address chafing of the harness. Your dealer should be able to tell you if the recall has been performed on a particular bike, and my dealer was able to get mine done in just a couple of hours. Jeff, DC, and other 08s+ Do you know, or determine what exactly they did to stop the chafing? revmaaatin.
