big attendance at eagle mike tech day in san diego

I got there around 11 am and so I had to work on my bike at the outer edge of the parking lot. Changed my doohickey case gaskets; one was leaking. I thought it had been my oil filter cover but nope. It was probably the inner doohickey side gasket. Just started leaking on its own out of nowhere. I reused my rotor bolt this time and put 125 ft lbs. of torque on it. Also, changed my Eagle Mike doohickey spring to a shorter one so I wouldn't have to go in there again. Eagle Mike's Machine shop is only 100 ft from Autozone which helps. Someone had an extra aftermarket heat shield for my soft saddlebags and gave it to me which was nice. I didn't care much for the shark fish tacos but hell it is a machine shop; not a taco stand! I didn't see the Donkey show in TJ this time. I was afraid of Swine/Bird/Donkey flu virus. But, did catch Assembly of Dust at Winston's in Ocean Beach San Diego. Great show! Jeffrey
