[dsn_klr650] kickstarter
For the 1995-96 model year, Kawi changed the clutch basket. the use of the kickstarter is no longer available. the parts would come from a KLR600. I guess you can look at changeing the clutch to what is in the 600. But I would leave well enough alone. just park on a hill : ) haha. Sorry bud, all my research has shown the same results. not possible for a part swap.

I guess I am tired of depending on batteries.
Does anyone no what parts are needed, and the part numbers to add
a kickstarter to my 2003 KLR

[dsn_klr650] kickstarter
There used to be a kick starter "kit" from Kawasaki for about $200 that has since been discontinued. The individual parts used to still be available but have become Very expensive. The last I checked the parts totaled around $1000. That would buy a lot of batteries.

Martin,
Several bikes come w/ bias and radial mix. Don't worry about THAT. No opinion about radial tubes.
