front brake upgrade kit

Although I don't have the 320mm rotor, I have seen variation in pad dimensions. I think some aftermarket companies do this to meet 'price points'. I used to work for the 'Great American Chocolate Company' and as component costs increased, the price stayed the same but the ounces decreased. In a way I saw this with the Parts Unlimited (PU) pads. They have less metal and have a smaller pad surface than a DP pad or the OEM pad. You think that it is a good deal (price) but you are getting less pad for less money - really not saving anything. I ran the PU pads for a while and noticed that their smaller surface area increased my stopping distances by 100'-150'. You might be able to run smaller pads if you use stainless steel lines that do increase the efficiency of pressure transfer between you and that pads on rotor. Don R100, A6F
