unsafe highways for motorcyclists

----- Original Message ----- From: Larry Cardo To: DSN_klr650-owner@yahoogroups.com Sent: Tuesday, February 03, 2009 9:11 AM Subject: Unsafe highways for motorcyclists List admin, If after viewing the web site http://mcroadsafety.com, you feel this is a meaningful effort, I would appreciate: Your support in posting this to your list and/or forwarding this letter to your friends. This topic should be of special interest to all riders! For years I have complained about how unsafe our highway system is for motorcyclists. Most of which can be economically and easily fixed if only someone cared. I have contacted our national MC organizations to carry this cause, but to no avail. Many aspects of our highway system are unsafe for motorcycle riders, i.e., truck tire carcasses, excessive deer population, slippery white/yellow lines, tar snakes, etc. We are in the process of implementing a nationwide approach to resolve many of these issues. All the information can be found at http://mcroadsafety.com. Thank you for your consideration, Larry Cardo [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

nklr - need a carfax report?

On that note.......People have varying views as to what maintenance consists of. I work with a woman that owned a Toyota. She s an art historian that had a good book on Toulouse Lautrec published FWIW. She, true to her type, consulted Consumer Reports before choosing this car. She kept it spotless, inside and out. Around 60k or 70k miles it was in the shop for some reason. The mechanic checked the oil and found something like mud at the end of the dipstick. She never had changed the oil, not once. Imagine the poor slob that eventually ended up with that car. It was very clean and a brand known for longevity. Bogdan, who buys used cars from private parties not dealers. That way, I know what kind of person the owner was. Older blue collar males are preferred. [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
