bag. You> Thanks to all who responded to my question about the Wolfman tank
Tom, i followed the IBMWR want ads and found one in no time, $75 shipped, good as new. Then one day I saw five of them listed, from a dual sport outfit up in the Shasta area. I posted the link, and I think at least one lister bought one. I use mine like Swampy does, lots of semi-permanent stuff in there, bike pump, tool kit, sunscreen, etc. The mounting system on the Explorer bag is the best, once you sort it out the way you like it. I also had the Kawi bag but gave it away, once I used the Explorer for a couple days. Bill in CA> have convinced me. > Tom

tank bag
Hi, I would like you to help me to find the best tank bag for my bike.
Also I invite you to see the photos that I took yesterday in the
International airport Toncontin (Tegucigalpa, Honduras) Take a look
to the red signal that stops the road traffic. (Photos/Honduras-Album)

tank bag
I'm new to KLR ownership and just purchased a Wolfman Explorer Tank Bag, and
I'm quite pleased. I plan on doing alot of camping and
would like advice on saddle bags/panniers. The expensive alum. or the less
costly soft bags. Most of my travels would be 1-2 week trips, however I am
hopeing to take an extended 6 week trip next year.
 Please give me your thoughts.

I, too, use the explorer tank bag and have no complaints. Originally I was
planning on getting soft side bags, like Ortliebs, but was persuaded by
someone with a lot of experience to go with the Givi hard bags.

I did, and am very pleased with them. Now with 21,000 miles on two long
trips, I definitely rec ommend them as they are not only good
traveling(lockable)bags, but when you go down, they take a lot of punishment
that you and bike don't have to. Great protective fenders.--PHW

Yeah - I used to have a very old Eclipse bag which worked well but
recently picked up a used Wolfman and am very happy - though the steep
tilt of the tank still limits carrying larger square items in it like
my Barbie lunchbox.... The Dual-Star bag looks nice but is very $$$$.
