final drive sprockets

Post by dooden » Sat Nov 29, 2008 6:41 am

I had a 14/45 on mine using stock chain. Would not go lower that that myself, really makes some good rev's at highway speed like that, but had plenty of pull for me offroad. Think your reaching for another gear with stock sprockets, wait till ya have 14/45 thought I had a broken shifter first ride could'nt believe I was in 5th gear already. Now a 6 speed tranny would have been nice. Ack.. KLR up against the wall and 4 Wheeler next to it getting ready to mount the snow plow to it. Sir Jud... From Bell's, I prefer the Third Coast Old ale... Then again, a favorite of mine during warm weather is Weeping Radish Hefe Weise, Mai Bock, or Alt Bier (an NC Outer Banks all natural brewery. I do also suggest you check-out Avery's 14'er..... A fine frothy brew.. albatross remembering the days of crossing in square-riggers and the gallon of beer a day ration
