Wow! That stuff seems to do everything. Have you had good results with it? Don

Ya think cycle and boat engines sit long periods.. try it on RV generators.. have seen it take something that would bearly run and clean it up very nicely. Run it though my vehicles once and awhile when running sick also. Dooden A15 Green Ape

Hi I tapped the float bowl as described, and lots of little peices of rust came out so I decieded to take the carb off and clean it.I bought this bike last fall for 100.00 dollars it needs work. While I had the carb off I notcied there is A L shaped plastic fitting on the bottom L/H side itis broken off at the carb. What is this line for and where does it go to? Thanks in advance Dan

That sounds like the fitting for the fuel line from the petcock. If you have trouble getting one, I have seen a field replacement fashioned from a conical fuel filter inserted directly in the hole for the fitting. Use a short piece of fuel line to shim it out to fit, and attach the fuel line to the inlet side of the filter. If you find that the filter causes drivability problems, you could gut it of the bronze filter medium, but for now, it sounds as if you might need some fuel filtration.

Is it Black or Gray? The Black colored one is for fuel from the tank, the Gray colored one is for fuel overflow, when you drop your bike the hose on it carries the fuel away from your bike, keepts the bike from cathing fire. HtH, Denis

There is a line that comes out of the bottom of the float bowl. It is the line to the left of that. It comes out of a plastic fitting towards the bottom of the carb. Is it a vent line that goes to the air box? I appreciate any help. Thanks Dan

Still reading it nearly 30 years later and each time I read it as I age it talks to me from a different perspective. Graz
