Deer meat is good, but as Eric said, nobody wants a Bambi burger from
McDonalds.

deer/bike crash today
I saw that Walt movie as a weepy eyed kid. Walt was my hero. Now that
I am adult and occasionally sober even while riding bikes, I don't
like Bambi no mo. Shoot em and eat em. Which is exactly what polar
beer would do to all the people worried about them if he could.
Well........... polar bears would first have to learn how to
shoot ... Heh!. People in TX will tell you deer only come out at
night and never when it is hot. Hah! I have had them walk right
across the road wiggling their dumb ears mid day in the high 90's and
me on the KLR.
Coming back from Moab a couple of years ago south of Chama at about 6
AM, a cop goes speeding by me lights flashing. A few miles down the
road lay a dead deer. A couple hundred feet from the deer, a dead
sport bike. No sign of the rider. Cops talking to a witness. The next
year I rode through there, a cross was at the side of the road. Saw 2
more wiggly eared dumb ass deer that same morning crossing over to
Taos. Shoot em!

Must disagree... People are the deadliest animals on the road. I've
dodged a lot of deer, but never had one aim a car/truck/semi at me...

Bought a front sprocket from them. prompt shipping, good price,
sprocket works fine - Studebaker brand (?). I like to buy from Fred
when I can, but I ran across the KLR.com site, and found the sprocket I
was looking for cheap. couldn't go wrong I fugured.

Years ago I used to shoot at a range in Franklin County near St. Albans, VT. One of the
shooters had a tee-shirt I wish I'd been able to get:
On the front was a picture of Bambi, Thumper, the skunk and the owl...
WITH CROSSHAIRS ON THEM!!!
STILL love the thought.
