honda mirrors for klr
Just received a set of Honda mirrors for my KLR from Fred at
Arrowhead. Boy are they nice. A bit smaller in diameter than the
stock mirrors but I put the one on the left side as that stock mirror
was useless due to vibration. I can now actually see what is behind
me on that side
I do have a question, how far should I thread the screws in? I only
went abiout 1/2 way so they are about 3/4 of an inch taller to get the
mirrors around my shoulders for visability. Should I be threading
them in all the way? They would then be a bit shorter than the stock
mirrors and may not clear my arms and shoulder well.
Thanks
Pat
