Kawasaki says it sounds like it will either be the CDI box part # 21119-1272, which they have labeled as the ignition in the microfiche, that will cost $345 if bought from them or 279.72 from babbits online. The other part that he told me to try before the CDI box is the Pulsing coil that they have labeled as coil pulsing and part # 59026-1087 for $81.99 or 66.34 on babbittsonline.com. On babbits the part # is the first set of numbers and the second set after the - is dealership #'s. Thanks for the input and this is where things stand as of now, 20 hours after I was stranded on side of freeway.

4.60 vs. 5.10

Anyway, please excuse the digression. What I'd like to hear is if anyone has run a 4.60 on the back before? Any opinions or experiences? Thanks! You were focusing on width in your memo, but some guys run the 4.60 rear because it is smaller in diameter as well, giving them the equivalent of lowering links without the downsides (cost and change in shock/spring leverage). My 5'10" friend likes his 4.60 rear. Bill Watson Phoenix, AZ www.xanga.com/watt_man [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
