I ve ridden with my low Acerbis for years and as Darren stated it makes the bike track solid at high speeds. The surprising thing is that it s never caused any trouble in mud or clay. I spend an entire day riding in clay down in Mexico. ( Not by design I might add. ) The bike was covered in clay from head to tow but the movement of the front wheel was not impeded. FWIW I did wash the bike the next day. Washing off stuff that could be corrosive is just about the only incentive for me to give my ride that dreaded bath.
