Have a KLR-related item to sell, but need to know where I can find the rules about posting 'for sale' items. Or is an email to the group just fine? The only rule about selling is that if you are a vendor (in a commercial venture) you need to include Vendor in the subject line and only post once on Fridays. If you have something to sell as a private person, then this rule does not apply.

rings & valve seals... an easy job?
Hey there,
So, after a leakdown test at Godspeed in Oakland it appears that I
could use new rings and exhaust valve seals. I was considering
ordering a 685 kit from Schnitz, but money is a little tight right
now. Though I still haven't ruled out this option just yet. Are
valve seals a do-able task for a mechanically-inclined, though
lesser-experienced klr owner? Besides the seals, rings, and gaskets
are there other parts that should be replaced while i'm in there? Oh,
and will I need to pick up some special tools to execute this thing
gracefully?
Thanks!
Ben
