If you think you need to pull a trailer, you are carrying way too much crap.

much crap. In the United States, you're *mostly* correct. There is one place where a trailer would come in handy, which is when you're heading out into a remote desert several hundred miles from the nearest gas, I'd rather haul the extra gas behind me on a trailer than strapped to my bike somehow. But we don't have that here in the United States. The Aussies, on the other hand, need either a big honkin' gas tank or a trailer, or both, because there's spots in their back country where the stations may be several hundred miles apart (country is same general size as the U.S., 1/10th the population, you do the math).

650 engine in a 600

Post by hjogden » Wed Feb 20, 2008 12:14 pm

Hello. Been lurking for a while, this is the first post. Question - has anyone fit a KLR650 engine into a KLR600 frame? I know anything is possible if you throw enough money at it but does this one bolt up? Thanks Hal in Halifax

It took me a while to try and remember where I had seen this. My sister and I racked our brains trying to figure out what the name was and where it came from. Take a peek at www.trailtail.com Much more trail friendly than the sledge you had found. E

Eric, you really need to update your email label. You haven't been n1rzc since 03/08/1999. Why don't you change it to KE1LB? Walt -------------- Original message from "n1rzc" : --------------
