I suspect you cannot put the centerstand back on without some modifications, because our mod puts those plates on the outside of the box, effectively widening the footpeg mount distance by 1/4" or so. Doesn't matter. The stand I had was real hard to get the bike up onto it, when it was up a Mefo rear would barely clear on perfectly even pavement. You couldn't ride off of the thing (which puts even MORE stress on the mounts), and with a 130/90x17 like a D606 or MT21 the tire didn't clear at all. I ride in rocky areas in the Sierra, so it would reduce ground clearance and possibly get knocked off or damaged. I don't need one. I have a hydraulic lift for use at home and on the road I have a collapsible "third leg" thing I made that will allow me to lift either wheel.

Only if I get to video it! Michael -- "It ain't those parts of the Bible that I can't understand that bother me, it is the parts that I do understand." -- Mark Twain San Francisco, CA
